Coco Oh No!

This was probably the collection that got me into fashion.  These photos are from the Balenciaga Spring 2007 campaign.  Someone said that she looks like an alien who's landed in suburbia.  I love aliens.

Murder, Murder

I hate that when I say or hear "Prada" I feel snobbish. The truth is that Miuccia Prada is an amazing and innovative female designer, one of my all time favorites. Her fall 07 show is the one that pulled me in. The savageness of the clothes fit perfectly with the grungy, world music inspired soundtrack, which I immediately went on the hunt to find. The music is off the self titled album from a band called "Blacken the Black." They are a favorite as well.

Rocket Rocket Ricci

I recently have been listening to a lot of Suicide.  I first heard them when I was watching this Nina Ricci fashion show.  Olivier Theyskens, who designs for the house, is an interesting and artistic man who loves to mix things together.  Hard with soft, light with dark, fragility with strength.  Recipes for success.
